SA Performance Training delivers professional, structured and high intensity football coaching for ambitious, aspiring players aged 12 to adult. Focusing on small group sessions, semi-private 2-1 and individual 1-1 training formats, SA Performance Training develops technical skills, game intelligence, physical conditioning and mindset - giving players the edge they need to excel.

Our goal is to elevate the performance of driven footballers through elite coaching structured progression and a professional training environment.

Scott Anderson

After an incredible 24 years at Aberdeen FC, most recently as U18 manager, Scott Anderson has now embarked on a new chapter in his football journey. With a UEFA Youth A License and a career dedicated to youth development and senior professional football , Scott brings an exceptional level of experience, leadership and passion for nurturing young talent.

Scott began his playing career at Rangers FC, thereafter St Johnstone as a professional player and then went on to represent several other Scottish clubs. Following on from this, he had successful managerial roles within the semi-professional levels.

During his time at Aberdeen FC, Scott held a variety of coaching positions playing a key role within developing the club's next generation of talent. His deep understanding of the game and commitment to player development has earned him a respected reputation throughout Scottish football.

Now, with decades of on field and side line experience, Scott is focussed on sharing his expertise more widely as he steps into this next chapter.

Coach Stuart Anderson

Stuart Anderson enjoyed a 14-year professional football career, beginning at age 16 with Southampton. He went on to play for several clubs across the English and Scottish leagues, including Blackpool, Ross County, Livingston, Raith Rovers, Salisbury, Peterhead, and Brechin, before finishing his playing career at Formartine United.

After retiring from playing, Stuart moved into coaching and was appointed Manager of Formartine United in 2022 - a role he still holds today.

Facilities

The Meadows Sports Centre

The Meadows Sports Centre in Ellon is a multi-sport facility serving the community of Ellon and the surrounding area with a variety of indoor and outdoor sports. Within the centre premises there is an excellent gym with a variety of equipment, a spin studio, a fitness suite, a large games hall and 2 squash courts.

Outside, there are 2 full size grass football pitches, 2 full size grass rugby pitches and a floodlit grass 7 a-side pitch, along with a certified FIFA quality standard 3G floodlit pitch which was completed in May 2024.
